  • Reservations

Reservations for your holiday in the Seychelles can be made on our website with a wide selection of cars. Reservations online need a 50% prepayment in order to secure the reservation.

Once we have received the prepayment, we will forward you a formal email confirmation and voucher along with delivery details. The remaining balance is to be settled on the day of rental in either Euro Cash, USD Dollars, Seychelles Rupee or Credit Card (see payment terms below).

Reservation with no prepayment will not be confirmed and prepayment is definitely required to secure your car rental.

  • Payment Terms

Upon confirming the reservation, a 10% – 50% prepayment to the value of the rental term / total is required to secure the reservation.

The remaining balance is to be settled on the day of rental in either Euro Cash, USD Dollars, Seychelles Rupee or Credit Card.

Please note: If the remaining balance is settled in Credit Card a 3.5% Transaction Charge will apply only on the Balance Outstanding.


  • The driver (minimum 21 years of age) must have held a valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years prior to the rental period.
  • The car can only be driven by the customer himself/herself and one additional driver. The name of this driver will be written in the rental contract upon delivery.
  • Second Driver is free of charge  He/she must be present when the rental contract is signed.
  • If the car is driven by any other person, the insurance coverage is void and contract will be terminated.


  • Delivery – Praslin Airport & Ferry Terminal
  • We offer Free Delivery and collection to these locations. You will be met at these locations at the agreed time as per  your reservation with your name on a paper upon arrival. We have 24-hour support WhatsApp +2482509820 and should there be any delays please let us know in advance for any changes in delivery. Thank you very much.


  • Delivery – Hotel, Guest House or AirBnB Listed Accommodation
  • We offer Free delivery and collection everywhere on Praslin Island.
  • In order for us to find you easily on the day of rental please share with us your room number once checked in to     your accommodation. Delivery at any accommodation needs to be at the agreed time on the voucher.
  • Collection / Drop Off Terms

Airport Returns

The drop-off procedure at the Airport will be discussed with your at the rental desk on the day of rental.

Other Return Locations

  • We will always meet you on the day of return wherever your drop off location and time might be as per rental contract and agreement on day of rental.
  • Under no circumstances are you to hand over the keys to anybody outside of representatives of Bliss Car Hire. You should not hand over the keys to any individual whom does not represent our service provider, also not to take any advice from bystanders on what to do with the return of the car.


  • Late Returns or Changes in Drop Off / Return of Rented Vehicle

On the day of Drop Off / Return of rented car it should be at the time which is stipulated on the rental agreement and at the location also noted on the contract.

Any changes that is occurring that changes the drop off time and location needs to be communicated to the provider ahead of time.

Any returns extending the official return time on the rental agreement and without prior notice (6 hours) will result in a full day’s charge. If the car can be extended additional charges will apply automatically, if the car cannot be extended due to high occupancies the car needs to be returned at the agreed drop off / return location as per agreement.

Changes in drop off / return location must also be communicated ahead of time (6 hours), failure to do so will result in a full day’s charge.

The customer has to present at the time of both hand-overs. Existing damages have to be noted on the rental contract. The customer has to return the vehicle back in the same flawless condition, in which he/she received it.

  • Valet

We kindly ask our clients to reduce the amount of sand they place in the car. We do have a Valet Charge of SCR 500 / €35 in case a valet charge should be applied. We would charge valets charges in the following instances:

  • Wet Seats
  • Sand Everywhere in Car (Sand on Foot Carpets) is perfectly fine
  • Sand everywhere on seats, driving consoles, dashboard, on the doors, center console

Some sand is to be expected in the car and it is very unlikely to avoid any, we just ask our clients to reduce the amount of sand being deposited into the car. Our Beach Sand has got high salt content and rust can easily damage a car in the future. Therefor we kindly ask our clients to keep this in mind all the time.


Insurance, Taxes & Coverages

Full Comprehensive Insurance, Taxes & Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is already included in the daily rate and in case of an accident the hirer’s liability shall be limited to:

  • All our car category has a maximum excess of 1000 Euros, but we also give you the option to lower your excess to the following amount.    The hirer will cover damages up to a maximum or 1000 euros  for the rented vehicle in the case of damages caused to the vehicle under their responsibility.

(PLEASE NOTE: We do not take ANY DEPOSITS for the Insurance / Excess)

    • Reduced Excess €500 @ €8.00 per day
    • Reduced Excess €200 @ €15.00 per day
    • Full comprehensive Super Cover €0 @ €40.00 per day

  • €1000 maximum liability (extra insurance and coverages is available) This can be reduced to:
    • Reduced Excess €500 @ €15 per day
  • Creta SUV
  • €1500 maximum liability (extra insurance and coverages is available)
    • Reduced Excess €1000 @ €10.00 per day.

Tyre & Glass Waiver @ €5.00 per day (Picanto & Grandi10)
Tyre & Glass Waiver @ €10.00 per day (Kia Soul , Daihatsu Terios & Hyundai Creta)

      • In case of any windscreen chip or breakage and guests have the Tyre and Glass protection plan no further charges will apply. Guests will not be held responsible. The Tyre protection does NOT include the rims and the wheel cap. Cost of any glass to car starts from €350.00 without the Protection plan.



  • Roadside Assistance @ €5.00 once off fee
    • We offer 24/7 Roadside assistance to all our guests. Without the roadside assistance plan there will be a base call out fee of €20.


  • Cancellation Waiver @ €10.00 once off fee
    • This coverage allows you to get full refund of your reservation total in case of any cancellation up to 48 hours before your arrival . For any further cancellation policy information please read below.


  • Important Insurance / excess policy information:
  • Any accidents caused by the renter while under the influence of any prohibited substance let it be Alcohol or drugs, renter will be 100% responsible for the rented car. Excess is automatically void.
  • No individual / person is allowed to open the cars bonnet for any repairs, battery start, and anything related to car engine bay. Only the representatives of the respective service provider is allowed to open the bonnet. If this is not adhered to excess if waived and all costs is on the renter.
  • No one other than the service provider is allowed to sanction towing of the rented Vehicle.
  • Any accident or scratches to the vehicle, needs to be reported to Bliss Car Hire immediately after incident. This will allow us to serve you with appropriate service and quotes for repairs.
  • Damages on the bottom of the vehicle, loss or damage of the car keys, as well as personal belongings are not covered.
  • The customer shall handle the car with care. The car shall be properly locked when unattended.


  • Unlimited Mileage
  • Guests has the freedom to explore every corner of the Island. No limitation in mileage.


  • Refueling Policy
  • Bliss Car Hire provides a full tank policy and hirer will need to return the car with a full tank inclusive of a receipt from the petrol station.


  • Cancellation Policy
  • Guests will be charged cancellation charges as follows
  • Cancellation up until 36 hours before arrival 30% of total rental balance
  • Cancellation up until 12 hours before arrival 50% of total rental balance
  • NO SHOW – Full Cancellation



If you have purchase the cancellation waiver no cancellation fee will apply if cancelled anytime prior to renting Date.

Bliss Car Hire does not hold responsibility for any bank charges that incur while refunding your funds.
