1. Reservations
You can book your Bliss Car Hire vehicle online at any time for rentals on Praslin Island. Our fleet includes multiple categories suitable for solo travelers, couples, families, and groups.
- A 30% prepayment is required to secure every reservation.
- Once payment is received, we will email a formal booking confirmation, voucher, and delivery details.
- Bookings without prepayment are not confirmed.
- The remaining balance is payable on the day of rental in EUR, USD, SCR, or via credit card (see Payment Terms).
2. Payment Terms
- A 30% prepayment confirms your booking. Amounts may vary by season or according to service provider policies.
- The remaining balance is payable on the rental day in EUR cash, USD, SCR, or via credit card.
- A 3.5% convenience fee applies to the outstanding balance only when paying by credit card.
3. Vehicle Delivery – Praslin Island
Ferry Terminal & Airport (Baie Ste Anne / PRI)
- Free delivery to the Ferry Terminal and Praslin Airport.
- A Bliss Car Hire representative will meet you holding a placard with your name.
Hotels, Guest Houses & Airbnbs
- Delivery or collection at accommodation incurs a €10 fee each way.
- Please be ready at the confirmed delivery time and provide your room number after check-in to facilitate a smooth handover.
Changes & Delays
If your arrival details, ferry times, or accommodation change, please inform us as early as possible so we can adjust your delivery time.

4. Collection & Drop-Off Terms
Airport Returns
Bliss Car Hire has designated parking spaces at Praslin Airport.
These will be shown to you at the start of your rental, and the full drop-off procedure will be explained at the rental desk.
For any questions before arrival, please contact us anytime via email or WhatsApp.
Other Return Locations
We will meet you at your chosen drop-off location at the agreed time stated in your rental contract.
Important:
- Under no circumstances should you hand the keys to anyone other than an authorized Bliss Car Hire representative.
- For your safety, you may request the name and details of the team member collecting your vehicle.
Late Returns & Contract Changes
- Any changes to location or time must be communicated as early as possible.
- Returns more than 6 hours late without prior notice will incur an additional full day’s charge.
- Extensions cannot be guaranteed, as the vehicle may be booked for the next customer.
5. Vehicle Cleaning Policy (Valet)
Seychelles beach sand contains high salt levels, which can cause long-term vehicle damage. We kindly ask guests to reduce the amount of sand brought into the car.
A valet charge of SCR 500 / €35 applies in cases of excessive sand or wet upholstery.
Optional Fixed Cleaning Fee
- A €15 once-off cleaning fee is available during online booking to avoid any valet charges.
Valets are charged when:
- Seats are wet
- Sand is present throughout the car (console, seats, dashboard, floors, doors)
- Sand on the foot carpets only is acceptable and does not require a valet.
6. Insurance, Taxes & Coverage
Full Comprehensive Insurance, Taxes, and CDW are already included in the daily rental rate.
Budget Vehicles – Kia Picanto / Hyundai Grand i10
Base excess: €1500
Optional reductions:
- €500 excess → €8/day
- €200 excess → €15/day
- €0 excess → €30/day
SUVs & 7-Seaters – Creta / Urban Cruiser / Venue / Ertiga / Serena Van
Base excess: €2500
Optional reductions:
- €1000 excess → €8/day
- €500 excess → €20/day
- €0 excess → €30/day
No deposits are required for any insurance option.
Important Notes
- Full cover does not include negligent actions such as loss of keys.
- Key replacement fee: SCR 5000.
- Insurance packages (including add-ons) must be selected before or during vehicle collection—they cannot be changed afterward.
Tyre & Glass Protection
Covers windscreen chips, cracks, and tyre damage (rubber tyres only).
- €6/day for Budget Vehicles
- €8/day for SUVs & 7-Seaters
Without protection:
- Glass repairs start at €400 (Budget)
- Glass repairs start at €500 (SUV/7-Seater)
Rims and wheel caps are not included under this protection plan.
Safety Reminder
- Never park under coconut trees—falling coconuts cause severe damage.
- Do not leave valuables in the car.
Additional Assistance Fees
Theft Protection
In the event of total loss due to vehicle theft, renters will not be held liable.
Roadside Assistance
- €5 once-off fee for 24/7 roadside assistance.
- Without coverage:
- Call-out: €20 base fee
- Plus €2.50 per km traveled
Cancellation Waiver
A €15 once-off non-refundable fee allows a full refund for cancellations up to 48 hours before arrival on Praslin Island.
Important Insurance & Excess Policy Information
- Any accident occurring under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances results in full liability and voids all insurance.
- You must not open the car bonnet or attempt repairs. Only Bliss Car Hire staff may inspect or handle any mechanical components.
- Unauthorized repairs or concealment of damage will void insurance coverage.
- Only Bliss Car Hire is allowed to authorize towing.
- All accidents, scratches, or damage must be reported immediately.
- Replacement vehicles typically arrive within 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on availability and location.

7. Unlimited Mileage
Enjoy complete freedom to explore Praslin—unlimited mileage is included in every rental at no extra cost.
8. Refuelling Policy
Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank to avoid refuelling charges.
9. Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Fees
- Up to 36 hours before arrival → 30% charge of the total rental
- Up to 24 hours before arrival → 50% charge
- No-show without notice → 100% charge of the total rental balance
COVID-19 Exception
- FREE cancellation for COVID-related issues (PCR proof required)
- Only a 3.9% transaction fee applies
